How an engagement runs

Week 0
A fixed-price scope document
A 30-minute call, then deliverables, milestones, price, and payment structure in writing. You approve it before anything is built, and the number does not move unless the scope does.
Every week
A build you can install
TestFlight and EAS builds on a real device, from week one — not status decks. It exists so the first chance to say 'this is not what we wanted' is week one rather than month two. The gates run from the first commit.
Launch
Submission, with 4.3 already handled
App Store and Play submissions, store assets, and metadata are part of the build. Apple's Guideline 4.3 is scored against a published rubric before anything is submitted, because a rejection is a schedule risk and not a surprise.
After
Ownership, or a documented handover
Either we keep the pipeline — OTA lanes, monitoring, releases — on a retainer, or you take it in-house with a written handover. Both are planned at the start. Neither is a cliff.
